Arrival of Winter

The Arrival of Winter is a time to hold worship for our forebears. We visit their graves with foods, wines and flowers. It is a time for family reunion and, a time for remembering our loved ones that have passed away.

Whenever possible every year, I would go back to my hometown to visit my great grandparents' tomb.

A sorrow feeling, which always arises when I realize that my grandparents are growing older and older, and that the cruel lapse of time will eventually bereave me of my elders, makes me feel rather sad.

My dad also tell me and my younger brother that we shall visit our grandparents as often as possible, for chances that we can see them is diminishing. We strictly stick to his words, and wish our grandparents live healthily as long as possible.

Be tough

Yesterday, we attended a lecture by prof. Liu, who is an especially fruitful writer on international law.

According to him, when he was a Ph.D. candidate, he devoted most of his time to research, and his only leisure was movies and shows.

Success in every vocation dose not come without pains. I shall utilize my time more meaningfully from now on.

A slack Ph.D. study simply makes no sense.

My spring of joy

She is absent for nearly 4 months now. During her absence, I derive my joy from these cute pictures, which were taken as clips during our online chat.

I really like these lovely expressions.
